Well, it was a rollercoaster of a game, but Wisconsin has finally made the move away from Sr. Transfer Tyler Van Dyke and to upcomer Sophomore Braden Locke.
TVD startted 1-5 with 2 INTs and it was time for a change. USC got off to an easy 14-0 lead when Locke came in and there was no looking back.
Locke threw the ball all over the yard with a complimentary run game, and the Badgers came rolling back to move the ball extremely well. Locke through for 225 and 3 TDs, while the Badger RBs combined for 120 on the ground to help close out the game.
Wisconsin lead by 17 with about 5 minutes to go and almost blew it, as USC converted a great 4th and Goal for a TD, then got the stop and immediately returned a kick for a TD.
The Badgers needed a 52 yard crossbar doink in FG to make it a 37-31 game with 30 seconds left. The defense held on, intercepting Miller Moss for the 5th time to seal the deal.
GG TStep, wild one again for us. GReat come back late and GG rest of the Big 10 season.
Well, the Men of Troy continue to turn the ball over and you can expect the loss when you do. USC was up 14-0 and the wheels literally fell off. A drive by the Badgers cut it to seven but three offensive plays later the USC QB throws a pick six and it's tied at 14 and all momentum out the window.
Down 31-17 entering the fourth and then 334-17 the Trojans would score 14 straight to make it 34-31, The Trojans would have the ball down three - pick then have the ball down six - you guessed it...pick. Rough way to lose chucking five picks.
