LA - The Terps come to town and score rather easily on their opening drive. The Trojans responded and drove the ball only to fumble at the goal line. The Terps would score quickly to make it 14-0. The Trojans would drive once again turn the ball over (a pick - one of six on the night).
A bit boring game for the Terps as they got up big early and ran up the middle to kill it out and it's unfortunate they had to do it so early as they forced turnovers all game long and the Trojans could do nothing. You'd think looking at the stats with 17 first downs the Trojans would have put something on the board - hey, we did miss an easy FG at one point.
The crowd got restless and the www.fireTSTEP,com website came alive. Several fans held up a giant banner that read "Enjoy coaching at Kennesaw Next Season."
LA- In a game fueled by defense the Terps would force 7 turnovers on the day and hold the eager Trojans to zero points on their efforts. Due to the score getting out of hand in the 1st half Terps would cool the jets offensively, but maintain the status quo on defense to ensure no score would be allowed.
Terps would also dominate on the ground with 2 tds and over 230yds rushing on the evening
