Sitting at 8-0 and #2 in the land, the Baylor Bears headed to Stillwater, Oklahoma to take on the Ollie Gordon led Cowboys of Oklahoma St, and Head Coach UF. UF has shown to give many team team problems up front, both on offense and defense. And today was no different.
The Cowboys jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead with a great display of patience int he pocket and utilizing thei all-world RB Ollie Gordon. Baylor did what Baylor does and struck on their first play from the LOS, to make it 7-7 as Finn hit Bonner up the right sideline and made a man miss. The bears went ahead and tracked on a Monaray Baldwin TD to go up 14-7, and after a methodically bad performance in the 2nd quarter, the Bears held a 14-10 Halftime lead.
Things quickly turned sour for the Cowboys as the Bears scored quickly via the Run game and then immediately turned over OK St via some EA Shenanigans as Matt Jones intercepted the screen pass that bounced off a head, then another body, and put the Bears inside the Red Zone. Bars take a 28-10 lead, and cruise to a 35-17 victory.
This closes out Block 5, and the Bears sit at 9-0 with just 1 game vs winless WVA in Block 6, potentially setting up a hige Matchup in Block 7 vs the undefeated, reinging Champion Jayhawks
