Article By: dub6582

The Washington Huskies defeated the USC Trojans on the road 49-35.

The Huskies opened the game, scoring on a 2 play drive and a 56 yard TD run from RB Jonah Coleman. After trading punts, the Trojans were able to score their first points of the day on a 4 yard TD run by RB Woody Marks. The Huskies responded with a TD of their own, with TE Keleki Latu needing all 6'7 of his frame to make a 19 yard TD grab. The quarter ended with a 14-7 score.

The Trojans came back with a 35 yard pass to WR Zachariah Branch. The Huskies were able to respond with a quick score of their own, a 57 yard jet pass TD to WR Giles Jackson. USC was able to score a long one with a 69 yard TD pass to Zachariah Branch. Traded drives led to a 2 yard TD run by Jonah Coleman just before the half expired.

The Husky defense was able to wake up in the third quarter, holding the USC defense to nothing. The only score came off of another Jonah Coleman TD run.

Needing to catch up, USC started throwing the ball more. USC was able to score on a 71 yard TD run by Woody Marks. The Huskies responded switfly, with a 63 yard TD run for Jonah Coleman. Both defenses had no answers for the opposing offenses, especially on the ground. Jonah Coleman once again was able to score on a long one, this time from 51 yards out. Desperate for a score, the Trojans threw some more picks, but were able to score on another Zachariah Branch TD. The Huskies recovered the onside kick and were able to kneel the clock out for the win.

GG Tstep, and good luck the rest of the way!

Huskies Run Over Trojans

Article By: TSTEPANEK

LA - The game was close early and like many USC games this year a mistake turned into several letting the game get out of reach. The Huskies came to town and jumped out to a 14-7 first quarter lead. The teams would trade blows in the second quarter each scoring 14. The Huskies led at the break 28-21. That's as close as it would get enroute to Washington's 49-35 win.

The Huskies chewed up the yardage on the ground with RB Jonah Coleman carrying only 22 times but a whopping 293 yards. The back also scored five rushing TD's. Coach TStep "we tried everything in the book to stop this guy and nothing worked - he hit us from all over and was a wrecking ball." LAPD is currently determining if they'll be charging Coleman with assault for what he did to the USC defense.

GG dub and GL closing out your season (I hate your RB!!!!(
