Nevada was stifled by an angry Broncos team in all phases.

BSU D makes quick work of reeling Nevada

Article By: iRoccafella

Reno NV - Coach Roc, Alshon Jeanty and the BSU Broncos were mad. They couldn't stop SDSU when it counted, likely costing them a spot in the Mountain West Championship given the unusually competitive season this year in the MWC that required near flawless execution.

The BSU D decided to take its frustration out on the Nevada offense in splendid fashion racking up 5 INTs, 5 Sacks and a Fumble recovery for good measure. Red Shirt Junior Zion Washington housed his two INTs for TDs, allowing the Boise Offense to have a light day.

With the defense outscoring the Nevada offense by itself, Alshon Jeanty did most of the heavy lifting, racking up 189 yards on a 28 carries to ice the game away. Nevada was determined to stop the Jeanty train and laid some hats on him early, however, Jeanty was still able to rumble for 2 TDs. That said this was his least efficient game since Week 2 at Okie St. Maddux Madsen resume his regularly scheduled efficient outings going 5/8 for 84 yards with no TDs no picks.

Next up: The Broncos return home to face off against the plucky upstart San Jose St Spartans and Coach Vic for what is sure to be a good time for all.

Nevada dominated

Article By: UncleLbo34

Nothing to write home about here. This was a complete domination on both sides of the ball by Boise State. Jeanty was held in check for the first series or two but by the time the qtr hit 2 he was full steam ahead . He couldnt be stopped and obliterated the secondary of Nevada. The offense struggled mightily stopping the pass rush and anything that left the hand of lewis was off target and intercepted.

Nevada Looks to regain its focus against a run heavy Air force team next week.
