The Eagles Fall in a Tight battle

Much like the rest of the season, the Eagles have fallen yet again. It doesn't help to only have 9:36 minutes of possession, but the eagles beat themselves in this matchup. Losing on the ground game but had an outstanding offensive performance in the air. They were 14/22 with 345 yards in the air today. Unfortunately, French had some issues with contacts sporadically throughout the game leading to 3 interceptions that determined the outcome of this one.

Troy scores twice on interception returns, dominates 4th Q clock with ground game. The Trojans improve to 7-2 (4-1), while the loss for the Eagles drops their record to 2-7 on the season and just 1-4 in Sun Belt play. Troy keeps their confrence championship hopes alive after a 33-22 home win and continues looking forward to a New Years day Bowl.
