Marshall went on the road to coastal Carolina and fell victim to the teal turf and CCU. The Herd could not get anything going in the run game and could not stop the run either as they lost their 2nd SBC game but still have a chance to make the CCG with a win over 1 win ODU next week. Coach Neal would be ecstatic if they could get their 6th conference win next week and also get bowl eligible after an 0-4 non conference result.

It was a great day for the beach boys. Coastal Carolina was able to have a balanced attack that led them to victory.

They brought their very best to this rivalry game. Only wonder why this performance hasn't been seen throughout the rest of the season.
