Michigan State took care of business at home this week handing Illinois its 8th loss of the season.
The Spartans were led my efficient QB play from Chiles who accounted for 3 tds as the Spartans had their way with helpless Illinois.
MSU play callers had an outstanding day and it couldn’t seem like Illinois could ever get a footing on defense. Led by a superior run game and highly efficient QB play from Chiles the Spartans with HC Rohk look like a formidable opponent for the final stretch of the Big Ten season.
Cal Swanson led the Illinois team on the ground with 68 yards off 5 carries including a TD. RB Kaden Faegin added 50 yards for the second and last TD for Illinois.
Illinois braces itself for the final stretch this season against South Alabama with upcoming games vs Rutgers and a big Rivalry game against Northwestern to finish out the lowly first season for Coach Hail.
