Article By: Thatdude, did to BGSU what nearly all other NDL coaches did this season. Made BGSU look mediocre and Drewwbacca look like a mid ass scrub. Drewwbacca played this one relatively close, actually, in many respects. However, the ill fated mistakes, and even worse, ill timed, such as in the red zone are the real downfall of this coach.
In what was never a strength of Drewwbacca's prior to about the middle of this season, Terion Stewart capped the campaign proving Drewwbacca has found something in the run game department. He tallied 199 yards on 27 attempts for the day. He found pay dirt once, but also coughed it up for one of the two very costly TO's. If both TO's turn into TD's, or if one TO turns into a FG and the other a TD, you're looking at a very different game. If's and But's.... ThatDude and Ball State did a good job to control the game via the run. Although the stats don't reflect that, due to short fields and Special teams touchdowns, when the cardinals needed a first down, ThatDude could run for it.
It was pretty god damn rough all year long, but the season had some highlights. Good and bad. At the end of the day, Drewwbacca isn't leaving EACFB25 in any capacity, and however the cards play out, he's quoted as, "cautiously optimistic for Season 31."
Cards move to 9-2!
Article By: Coach Thatdude and the Cards moved to 9-2 and 6-1 in the MAC. With one more game remaining the Cards are flying high and trying to end the season on a high note.
The defense led by Newsome is holding strong and keeping the offense in the game when it is hard to score points.
