The thundering herd are going bowling after what looked like a lost season after going 0-4 in the non conference. Marshall improved to 6-2 in the SBC and clinched a spot in the CCG against undefeated Louisiana next week. ODU could not stop the run game and also could not get anything going in the dominant 35-0 dismantling that the herd put on them on Senior Night.

ODU couldn’t stop Marshall’s running game, their passing, or get anything of their own going offensively.

The offense was unable to withstand the stampede of the Herd defense, with no sustained drives threatening to get ODU on the board.

Defensively, ODU was worn down, and the Herd capitalized on the opportunities.
