Alabama Defeats Oklahoma, 41-21

Tuscaloosa, Alabama - The Alabama Crimson Tide closed out their home slate with a huge win today, defeating the Sooners of Oklahoma 41-21. The Sooners came out on the opening possession of the game and had their way with the Crimson Tide defense, running the ball down Alabama's throat on the way to a quick 7-0 lead. The Crimson Tide would answer right back though thanks to some shifty moves from Jalen Milroe and a 30-yard touchdown run from Jam Miller to tie the score at 7-7. From that point on Alabama played like a team with something prove, scoring 34 unanswered points to put the game out of reach. Following the game coach McDonagh awarded the game ball to the entire Crimson Tide defense who managed to force Sooner quarterback Jackson Arnold into throwing 5 interceptions on the day. "This was another big win for us today," said coach McDonagh at the post-game press conference. "We just need to continue to play the way have these last 2 weeks and finish out the season strong. We generally don't need extra motivation for the Iron Bowl, but to say next week's game is huge is an understatement." As coach McDonagh alluded to, next week the Crimson Tide travel to arch-rival Auburn. If Alabama wins, they should earn a berth in the College Football playoff. If they lose--well, let's just say it's going to be coach McDonagh's head that gets rolled.
