Kentucky Louisville Rivalry Runs Blue

Article By: TheRealDray

The Cardinals and Wildcats would meet up in their annual rivalry game and it ended up being a high score matchup that would see the Cats come out on top 48-28.

The Wildcats would jump out early on a crazy 84 yard run on the first play of the game. Broke open then broke a tackle and housed it.

UK would tack on another score and it appeared the route was on 14-0 after 1.
Louisville would battle back scoring on a long td pass and get a stop and notch another td but UK would march down and get a late fg added on for a 17-14 score at the half.

Kentucky would mix a great game plan of pass and run and put together drives to push the lead to 41-21.
The fourth just wasn’t there for the Cards as they could not get the stops they needed and not get enough offense to keep up
