CMU loses 35-0 to reigning national champion Kansas in game that never was close. Despite being able to get across midfield several times, the Chippewas were unable to capitalize with points all game. Kansas utilized Jaydon Daniels and Devin Neal to perfect to take advantage of a much less athletic defense. Great game by coach Jiggy! Coach FiredUpChip had this to say: "You want key plays from the game? There weren't any because I coached my guys poorly today and hopefully we can do better next week. We have one more chance for a big upset against LSU, but other than that it's on to MACtion!!!"
Perfect play is hard to come by but the Jayhawks were able to get it done on both sides of the ball in their 35-0 win over the Central Michigan Chippewas
The defense held the Chippewas to just 104 yards passing and 2 INTs while the offense put up 35 points in the first half behind strong showings from QB Daniels, RB Neal, and TE Cure
