In what looked to be a promising start in the first quarter quickly derailed into a turnover catastrophe for the Black Knights offense. Daily threw for 6 INTs and 0 TDs, which quickly turned a close 21-14 game at half to a snooze-fest of a blowout.
The Rutgers crowd started to rattle Daily in the 2nd half, which showed.
"Awful start, just god awful," noted Coach Meep, "It turned our offense into one dimensional, where you cannot win football games like that."
Army looks to right the course next week at their home and conference opener against FAU.
