UConn took down MTSU today in a sloppy game for both sides.
With 8 combined int's the game ultimately came down to field position and who could make the least amount of mistakes.
UConn came away with 6 of the Int's and that was the difference. "Our defense takes the ball away and that's been our strong point so far this season." Said Riccio.
UConn was sparked by a 99 yard Rosa kick return td to separate the contest late in the first half.
It was a long day if you were a MTSU fan as they got beat piller to post by a very strong UCONN team.
On offense it looked like we might have a chance QB Nicholas Vattiato had a great day and a horrible day at the same time he threw for 348 and 2 TD's but he also ended the game with 6 int's.
The defense didn't fair any better as they had no clue what they were doing as they got run over by the big halfbacks as they racked up 171 yard's rushing.
