The Oklahoma State Cowboys secured a 35-14 victory over the Boise State Broncos in a Week 2 home game, showcasing a balanced offensive performance and a tenacious defensive effort.

The Cowboys offense was led by quarterback Alan Bowman, who completed 12 of 17 passes for 151 yards, throwing one touchdown and maintaining a stellar passer rating of 164.6. The Cowboys demonstrated their strength on the ground, with Ollie Gordon II leading the rushing attack. He carried the ball 15 times for 120 yards, averaging an impressive 8.0 yards per carry and scoring two touchdowns. AJ Green added 13 yards on four carries, while Bowman himself contributed with a small gain.

In the receiving department, Gordon II also excelled, catching three passes for 57 yards and one touchdown. Rashod Owens was another key target, accumulating four receptions for 41 yards. The Cowboys totaled 151 passing yards and 144 rushing yards, achieving an average of 6.3 yards per carry.

Defensively, Oklahoma State was formidable, amassing 54 total tackles, including 10 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. Nick Martin led the way with 10 tackles, while Kendal Daniels made significant contributions with 7 tackles, 3 for a loss, and one sack. The defense also forced four interceptions, with DB Korie Black running his back 102 yards for a TD.

Kicking duties were handled by Logan Ward, who converted 2 of 3 field goals and successfully made all 3 extra point attempts.

Nelson Picks up where he left off...

Article By: iRoccafella

Not the best start Broncos to kick of Season 30. Coach Roc and the Broncos should've known better than to schedule powerhouse teams, as this squad is no giant killer. With high end aspirations built in to the coaching contract, Coach Roc created a nightmare block 1 for all you wonderful Sadists out there that love a good beatdown.

Things were relatively close for a half, as the Broncos offense was able to score on one of its two possessions in the entire first half. Things went off the rails as Malachi Nelson threw 2 gruesome picks back to back to give the Cowboys a nice cushion. Nelson would direct two solid drives that would come up with zero points, one with back breaking 103 yard pick-6 that put the game out of reach.

On the bright side, there were zero punts in this game... largely due to 4 INTs from Nelson, but we're looking for silver linings here!

Heisman hopeful Alshon Jeanty was kept out of the end zone despite racking up 170+ yards from scrimmage. Nelson will be on a short leash for this season after the unceremonious end to last season after a romp through Conference play. Ideally the Broncos can notch an OOC win this year that is meaningful if they have even a glimmer of hope of catching the CFP committee's eye.
