In a dominating performance, the Minnesota Gophers defeated the Wyoming Cowboys 34-10 on Monday night, showcasing their defensive prowess and a potent ground game.

First Half
The Gophers kicked off the scoring early with a 24-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Evan Svoboda to Devin Boddie Jr., setting the tone for the evening. From that moment, Minnesota never looked back. Their offensive line paved the way for running back Harrison Waylee, who displayed his explosive speed and power, racking up over 200 rushing yards for the second consecutive week.

The Cowboys struggled to find their rhythm, and Minnesota's defense was relentless. The Gophers forced multiple turnovers, including an interception that shifted the momentum firmly in their favor.

Second Half
Minnesota continued to build on their lead in the second half. Svoboda connected with Boddie Jr. again for another score, further extending their advantage. The Gophers’ defense was a wall, picking off six passes throughout the game, bringing their total to an astonishing 13 interceptions in just two games this season.

Despite a late touchdown from Wyoming, the Gophers maintained control, closing out the game with a final score of 34-10.

Cowboys took the Gophers out!

Article By: taruncheel

The Wyoming Cowboys traveled to the Twin Cities and put a beating on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Minnesota did not have an answer for Harrison Waylee. He had over 200 yards rushing. The game was actually tied at 10 in the 2nd period and it went downhill from there. Wyoming was able to increase the lead to 24-10 before the half. In the 2nd half, Minnesota was down 31-10 before scoring 10 points to cut the lead to 31-20. This was on an interception return of 104 yards. The 4th quarter was all Cowboys as they added 20 points and picked off passes left and right.

"This was a beatdown! We have to play better and I expect Brosmer to keep his cool and not get careless with the ball. We got away from our gameplan and we cannot let that happen again," stated Coach Taruncheel! It is definitely time for the Golden Gophers to regroup and focus on the next game. They need to forget about this one and move on. Time will tell if Coach Taruncheel can turn this team around.
