It may as well have been a high school team out there with how BYU did nothing on both sides off the ball. The only notable thing the Cougars did out there was block a field goal.
With the lack of a defense and some interceptions by Gerry Bohanon, Texas went up to a quick 28-0 lead in the first quarter, which from there they would just work the clock for the following three quarters. Speaking of three, BYU had a whole lot of three and outs today.

Texas would take the lead early scoring a TD on the opening drive. A quick three and out would lead to a quick 14 point lead for the Longhorns and they would never look back. The Longhorn running game would take over putting up massive yards on the ground and the ball hardly ever went in the air for Texas. The UT QB's combined for a total of 4 passes on the day while the UT running backs of Baxter and Blue would take over the game and the day in a dominant performance by the Longhorns. "Any road win is a good win" says coach Steamrollr22. UT still has a lot of work to do over the next couple weeks as their schedule continues to ramp up towards some very big SEC games.
