Badgers Back on Track

Madison, WI - Associated Press

Wisconsin returned home after a 2 game Block 1 road trip to take on AAC upcoming team Tulsa and Coach Texanole, and they did not disappoint their fans.

Wisconsin got off to a quick 7-0 start after a methodical drive to open the game, however Tulsa answered the bell with a 4:30 second drive for 6 plus PAT to tie the game at 7-7. The Badgers knew Tulsa would come with a solid gameplan and after that wake up call, the Badgers took off from there.

Wisconsin turned the ball over on the next drive, and that's where Coach RB had to do some yelling at Sr. QB Tyler Van Dyke whos now thrown 8 on the season. "I told him he's gotta figure out defenses, otherwise Braden Locke is ready to go next week, no more excuses" and he responded with 5 total TDs on the day, leading the Badgers to 318 yards passing.

The Badgers defense stepped it up forcing 2 INTs and a big one right before the half that then led them down to take a 21-7 lead.

Tulsa came storming back to start the half to make it a 21-14 game, but Wisconsin buckled down and scoring 14 more 3rd quarter points, and 7 in the 4th to cap off a 42-14 victory. Shout out to Texanole, who had a great gameplan and hung around all game. The player ratings and skill gap along with home field advantage took over down the stretch.

Tulsa Outclassed at Camp Randall Stadium

Article By: TexaNole

Tulsa’s confident game plan was not enough, as they fell 42-14 at Camp Randall Stadium. The game could have gone either way, but turnovers—especially a critical one in the red zone with 30 seconds left before halftime—turned the tide. That interception cost Tulsa a chance to tie the game, shifting momentum heavily against them, and this is were the flood gates were opened.

Despite the loss, Tulsa’s 1-2 record against Power Four schools to open the season should not be overlooked. Coach TexaNole remained positive: “This wasn’t going to define our season,” he stated, focusing on growth ahead.

Congrats to Coach RB for a well-earned victory. Coach TexaNole had one last message: “Just know, I will have my vengeance, in this season or the next.”
