After a 0-2 start, the Ball St. Cards got their first win of the season against Troy 63-38! The Cards were lead by a strong running game from Christian Davis who had 159 yards with 2 Tds. The Captain of the ship Kelly threw for 278 yards and 4 Tds. The game was a lot of back and forth in the first two quarters until the Cards bust the gates open late in the second quarter to coast to a win.
Coach Thatdude " Troy has a great offense, it challenged us in every aspect on the defensive side of the ball. We made some minor adjustments late in the second to put us ahead for the game and seal the victory...Hats off to the Troy and our team today!"
Troy lost their first game of the season in ugly fashion after making some questionable decisions along the offensive line. Adjustments will be made. Unfortunately we turned the ball over 3 times, and couldn't stop the run. Gerald Green broke the Troy single game rushing record, he ran for like 300 yards but no one reads this shit anyway, kudos to the coach from the other team.
