Hard fought battle in Iowa

Iowa State Dominates Jacksonville State in Week 3 Matchup
In a highly anticipated non-conference clash, the Iowa State Cyclones took control early and never looked back, securing a win over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in a matchup that showcased Defensive firepower for both teams. The game, played at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, ended with a final score of Iowa State 31, Jacksonville State 0.

First Half
There were two score in the first half both by Iowa state. there was a run by Abu Sama III for a 16 yard rushing td. There was a 34 yard pass by Rocco Becht caught by Andrew Keller for a receiving touchdown.

Jacksonville state missed a 47 yard field goal in the first half By RIppa way wide right. Jacksonville state had no turnovers in the first half. Many three and outs. 14-0 Iowa state.

Second Half

There were three score in the second half all by Iowa state in the 4th quarter.

Kyle Konrardy for a 31 yard field goal.

Jeremiah copper on defense score a 91 yard interception return for a touchdown.

Jacksonville state had the ball in the redzone and couldn't put the ball in the endzone. Amazing redzone stop by Iowa State.

Kooper Ebel to add insult to injury and jab a dagger right through the heart of Jacksonville state for another 24 yard interception return for a touchdown. Jacksonville head coach will remember being down 24 points and the Iowa state Cyclones ran that last interception into the endzone to go up four possessions.

These are the kind of plays that create rivalries.

Hard fought game by both teams. Jacksonville couldn't get anything to go on offense especially in the run game. Great defense by both teams.
