Tuscaloosa, Alabama - The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Georgia Bulldogs today by a score of 38-21, advancing to the next round of the college football playoffs. The Crimson Tide relied heavily on the running game as both Jam Miller and Justice Haynes combined for over 200 yards on the ground to go along with 5 touchdowns. On defense Alabama was able to keep Georgia’s running game in check, force key third down stops and force 2 huge interceptions. “This is how I knew we could play all season long,” said coach McDonagh at the post game press conference. “Hopefully we can string a few more together like this and bring a national championship home to Tuscaloosa before the end of my contract.” Up next for the Crimson Tide is a clash with the defending national champions, the Jayhawks of Kansas.
