Article By: srgtzt

The TCU Horned Frogs closed out S30 in spectacular fashion, defeating the NC State Wolfpack 51-17 in the Pop-Tarts Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. TCU’s offensive explosion was led by quarterback Josh Hoover and wide receiver Savion Williamson, who both put on a show for the Orlando crowd.

Hoover was in rare form, throwing for an impressive 468 yards and 5 touchdowns. His precision and poise in the pocket were on full display as he orchestrated an offense that overwhelmed the NC State defense. The Horned Frogs’ passing attack was firing on all cylinders, with Hoover connecting with Williamson multiple times for long, highlight-reel touchdowns.

Williamson, who was nothing short of spectacular, caught 8 passes for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns. His performance was a major factor in TCU’s offensive dominance, with his big-play ability constantly stretching the Wolfpack defense. Whether it was a quick slant or a deep bomb down the field, Williamson was always a threat to break open the game.

With the victory, TCU finishes their season at 9-4, a solid conclusion to a year full of highs and challenges. The team’s performance in the Pop-Tarts Bowl showcased their explosive potential, as they proved to be too much for an NC State team that had no answer for Hoover’s passing and Williamson’s playmaking ability.

As the final whistle blew, the TCU Horned Frogs celebrated a dominant bowl win and can look forward to building on this success in the years ahead. The 51-17 victory will be remembered as a statement win to close out the season, leaving fans excited for what’s to come.
