In the Alamo Bowl Game, the Arizona Wildcats delivered a commanding performance against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, winning decisively 26-7.
The game's opening quarter set the tone, with Arizona striking early as quarterback Noah Fifita connected with Tetairoa McMillan on a 44-yard touchdown pass. Tyler Loop’s extra point put the Wildcats ahead 7-0. Moments later, Fifita found Montana Lemonious-Craig for a 2-yard touchdown, extending their lead to 14-0 after another successful kick from Loop.
The second quarter saw Arizona continue to assert their dominance, as Tyler Loop converted a 38-yard field goal to extend the Wildcats' lead to 17-0. A safety by the Arizona defense added to their score, bringing the halftime tally to 19-0.
The Wildcats maintained their control into the third quarter. Noah Fifita capped off a strong game with a 1-yard rushing touchdown, putting Arizona ahead 26-0 before the final quarter.
Oklahoma State finally got on the board in the fourth quarter when Trey Rucker returned a fumble 58 yards for a touchdown, with Logan Ward kicking the extra point to make the score 26-7. However, it was too little, too late for the Cowboys, as Arizona's lead remained secure.
With a combination of effective passing, solid defense, and strong special teams, Arizona emerged victorious in the Alamo Bowl, showcasing their strength both on offense and defense throughout the game.
