In an absolute battle in Annapolis, the Midshipmen were able to eek out a very close victory. On the first drive of the game, Navy ran it every play and was able to score from 7 yards out. No one would score again until the 4th quarter as Temple would score on back to back possessions as they connected on a 16 yard pass, then Navy would throw an interception and Temple would take advantage and score from 5 yards out running it in. With 2:32 left in the game Navy set to work to retie the game. On a deep comeback route, Nathan Kent would make the solo defender miss and then take it to the house from 76 yards out to score and put Navy tied with Temple. Forcing a 3rd down play, Colin Ramos would get his first interception of the day and take it back 30 yards to the house to put the Midshipmen up 7 with 1:24 left. Temple would mount an amazing drive and get close to scoring, but then Colin Ramos came up with his 2nd interception on the day on Navy's own 1 yard line to seal the win.
