The Air Force Academy came out with a 34-31 victory in 2 OT's over San Jose State. The fans were treated to a great game that went back and forth. Both teams moved the ball down the field, but San Jose committed 2 more turnovers and could not grab a fumble to steal the game. Both teams deserved the victory, but Air Force was the team that came out on top. Their passing game was precise and the Spartans did not have an answer.
The Falcons played host to Coach Heel and the Spartans from San Jose State Tuesday evening in Colorado Springs.
In what might go down as the MWC game of the season the Falcons outlasted SJSU 34-31 in double OT
John Busha turned out to be the difference makers as he ran for 2 scores and threw for 2 more touchdown passes. John would connect on 30 of his 39 passes in the game for over 250 yards.
The Falcons defense came up huge as they forced 3 turnovers in the contest. They was also able to get pressure on the Spartan QB most the game as they came away with 2 sacks and 6 hurries .
