In a heavily contested battle , Bowling Green offense came out guns blazing! Nearly 700 yards of offense propelled Bowling Green to their first win of the season. In a match up that looked to be over in the first half, as BG fell behind 28-7 from a couple of poor turnovers ; BG regained their composure and cut the lead to 28-21 before the half. After the half they marched down field to tie the game and it remained tied until late in the 3rd QTR . Bowling Green Safety recorded 3 more interceptions in the 2nd half that would ultimately take BG to a 45-35 lead where it would finish.
