Head Coach Black Rain and his UNLV Runnin Rebels face off at Utah State and Head Coach Buckeye76 in Logan, Utah. Head Coach Buckeye76 had his team ready on defense, and shut down the Runnin Rebels easily, as this was a defensive game. The Rebels finally got on the board with DB Tony Grimes's interception for a pick six, then DL Alexander Whitmore's fumble recovery for a 33 yard return for a touchdown. Lastly, Cam Oliver's interception returned for a pick six, highlighting the game's theme, Defense is King! The defense shut down the Aggies at home to a 21-7 win. The Rebels managed just 64 yards of total offense, which is unheard of, and usually that means you lose the game. But in this case, the Rebels defense helped seal the victory, which is what Head Coach Black Rain and his team needed. Great game Buckeye76, real tough defense, and it was terrific.
