Coach TexaNole and his K-State Wildcats had their backs against the wall in Morgantown, West Virginia. Nothing was clicking on offense, and the defense was a no-show until the fourth quarter. Down 35-17 with 30 seconds left in the third quarter, the Wildcats finally found their rhythm. A quick touchdown ignited hope, followed by a massive user-hit fumble on the kickoff that sparked a furious rally.
Coach Lambchop and the Mountaineers fought hard, ultimately losing in a thrilling 39-38 . Despite the heartbreaking loss, West Virginia proved they can compete with anyone. With one loss and a near-miss in back-to-back games, the Wildcats need a bye week needing some self-reflection. Best of luck, Coach Chop. this season is far from over.
