Week 9 : UNC - 35 @ Virginia - 0
Article By: Charlottesville, VA – The North Carolina Tar Heels wasted no time asserting their dominance over Virginia on Saturday, securing a commanding 35-0 victory in Week 9 of the season. The game was effectively over before the first three minutes of the first quarter had even passed, as UNC jumped out to an insurmountable lead.
"Going into this game, we labbed this matchup quite a bit, in two different 'modes.' It went as we thought it would," Coach Noles26 said postgame.
Virginia struggled to generate any offensive momentum, failing to put points on the board against a relentless Tar Heels defense. When linebackers can make up out of position mistakes, for easy INTs, there's not much to be done other than to stop throwing the ball.
