In a game between two 1 win teams and it saw Rice have to pull off and not go over the 35 point rule as Navy would turn the ball over 6 times in total and gift wrap 21 points in the first off to the Owls, while they struggled mightily the first half.
The second half saw some life from Navy and they would score 13 points in the 3rd quarter, but would also give up a 46 yard FG. Rice would tack on one more FG in the 4th and kick the Midshipmen all around 34-13.
