Shedeur Sanders, Colorado Dominate Texas Tech in 52-24 Victory

Lubbock, TX – Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders put on a career-defining performance, torching Texas Tech’s defense for 477 yards and five touchdowns in a commanding 52-24 road victory. From the opening drive, Sanders looked in complete control, carving up the Red Raiders’ secondary with precision passing. His favorite target of the night, two-way star Travis Hunter, hauled in six receptions for a staggering 198 yards and two touchdowns, including a 75-yard score that silenced the Lubbock crowd. The Buffaloes’ offense was relentless, putting up points in every quarter and overwhelming Texas Tech’s defense with their speed and execution.

While the passing attack dominated, Colorado’s ground game was equally effective, led by running back Dallan Hayden. The transfer back gashed the Red Raiders’ defense for 136 yards and two touchdowns on just 15 carries, consistently moving the chains and keeping the pressure on Texas Tech. Colorado’s defense also stepped up, forcing multiple turnovers and holding the Red Raiders in check after a fast start. By the fourth quarter, the Buffaloes had built an insurmountable lead, sealing their most impressive win of the season. With this victory, Colorado made a bold statement, proving they belong in the national conversation as they continue their rise under head coach dcanady1
