After a back and forth 1st Half which saw four ties and five lead changes, The Miami Redhawks defense tighten up in the second half shutting out the Falcons of Bowling Green to take a 49-28 victory.
In a thrilling Mid-American Conference matchup, Miami University (Ohio) triumphed over Bowling Green with a decisive 49-28 victory, though the game remained tight throughout the first half. In the Second half though the defense stepped up for miami forcing several errant throws by bazelek and leading to multiple points for Miami. This all but ends the hopes bowling green had of partaking in a bowl game.
