North Carolina Dominates NC State with 3

Article By: NarcanMan

The North Carolina Tar Heels earned a commanding 34-10 win over the NC State Wolfpack on Saturday, led by an all-around strong performance on both sides of the ball.

North Carolina’s offense was efficient and well-balanced, totaling 403 yards, with 199 yards rushing and 204 yards passing. Quarterback Conner Harrell orchestrated the offense, helping the Tar Heels convert all six of their third-down attempts in the second half, while also capitalizing on turnovers created by their defense.

In contrast, NC State’s offense struggled to keep up, finishing with just 336 total yards. The Wolfpack had a tough time finding rhythm, especially in the second and fourth quarters, where they were held scoreless. NC State quarterback Grayson McCall passing attack showed promise with 215 yards, but it wasn’t enough as the Wolfpack were plagued by turnovers—four in total—including three interceptions.

North Carolina took control early, jumping to a 14-3 lead in the first quarter, and never looked back. Despite NC State’s solid rushing effort with 123 yards, it was the Tar Heels’ defense that truly shone, forcing four turnovers, which resulted in two touchdowns and two field goals in the redzone.
