Will BYU Go Bowling?

Article By: TheBruisedBagel

BYU's defense finally showed up today, holding Houston to just 10 points, while forcing 7 turnovers and scoring 3 touchdowns. Probably the best defensive performance in Coach TheBruisedBagel's tenure. BYU's special teams was also able to get in the game as Kody Epps had an 86 yard punt return TD. BYU's offense didn't do terribly much, but with 4 touchdowns from the D/ST, they didn't really have a chance to. With this the Cougars finish 5-7. They also finish 7th in the conference with a 5-4 conference record. BYU falls one win short of the 6 win mark well known for being what you need for a bowl bid. But BYU was able to make a bowl last year at 5-7 and only posted a 3-6 conference record. So being 5-7 this year, but with a bit stronger of a resume, BYU hopes that they can slip into a bowl game.
