After the Week 1 traumatic loss to Colorado State the Tide needed to get back on track against FIU.
Although Bama started the game out slow, they eventually pulled away with a decisive 35-12 win.
Bama's defense recorded 5 int's and Emanual Henderson returned a kickoff 85 yards for a td.
Both Bama rb's (Miller and Haynes) both posted two td runs. Bama kept the ball on the ground for most of the game as the focus of practice this week was ball control.
Bama will travel to Charlotte next week for a non-conference game before the SEC schedule kicks in.
