San Jose State took on the mighty Washington Huskies in their season opener. The Spartans hung tough for the first quarter and change and then it went downhill. Washington's run attack was strong and the Spartan defense could not contain their running backs. When they keyed on the RB's, the passing game took flight. The defense really needs to look at this tape and see where they can improve. Speaking of improving, Emmett Brown needs to read the defenses better and make sure that he throws the ball to the right team. Starting the season with 5 INT's in the first game is not how it is done. If things don't improve quickly, Brown might be seeing himself on the bench.
