Kansas State dominated Troy 41-6 in a game where the Wildcats imposed their will on the ground. Their rushing attack was relentless, while the defense delivered a statement performance, allowing just 59 rushing yards and 196 passing yards while forcing four turnovers (two interceptions and two fumbles).
It was a tough debut for Troy’s head coach Croft, but despite the outcome, his team played with class and represented the NDL way. Meanwhile, Kansas State aims to keep its momentum rolling as Notre Dame comes to town, followed by a road trip to Colorado.
