Southern Miss went on the road to a top tier MAC Toledo squad and took care of business once again due to second half adjustments. It was a close first half as the road crowd rattled Southern Miss QB Rodemaker at the start but as the game went on he looked better and better. The two Southern Miss quarterbacks combined for 6 total touchdowns and three for over 400 yards. Three forced turnovers by the defense helped extend the lead in the second half and ultimately put the game away. The Golden Eagles look to stay on form as they take on conference foes in the back half of the season with conference championship hopes on the horizon.
