Falcons win OT thriller

The Falcons protect their home

Article By: Ank

The Air Force Falcons got back to Air Force Football, The Academy rushed for over 250 yards, controlled the ball and let Cade Harris do his thing. Harris and company picked up 256 yards on the ground. Harris, Calvert, Carson and Busha kept the Cowboys guessing all game long . Coach Ank said we need to get back to old Air Force football. The option worked all night long for the Falcons as they divided their 40 carries nicely between their core backs. Busha was a master at the option today and Carson at FB owned the middle of the field . Backup QB Q. Hayes even found the end-zone for the game tying touchdown. Wyoming played great, but a missed 19 yard FG in OT was the difference in the contest.

Great Game and GL Coach.

Air Force Option Confuses Wyoming

Article By: Dakshdar

In a thrilling overtime showdown, the Air Force Falcons narrowly defeated the Wyoming Cowboys, 27–24, at Falcon Stadium on Saturday. The game was a tale of two halves, with Air Force dominating early before Wyoming mounted a fierce comeback.

The Falcons took control in the first half, building a 10–3 lead by halftime. Their defense stifled Wyoming's offense, while their own ground game methodically moved the ball downfield.

However, the Cowboys came alive in the second half. Wyoming put up 21 second half points pushing the game to a 24 all tie and forcing the extra time.

In the extra period, Air Force won the coin toss and elected to defend. Wyoming missed a short FG before Air Force took advantage and clinched the win with a FG on their first posession.

Air Force's option attack proved too much overall for Wyoming as the uncertainty on where the ball was going kept the Cowboy defense on their heels for much of the game.
