Article By: Mjkemp15

The Missouri Tigers defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 35–24 in a dominant all-around performance fueled by an almost perfect day from quarterback Brady Cook, who completed 17 of 18 passes for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns with a passer rating of 255.4. Missouri’s offense clicked from the start, with running back Nate Noel powering the ground game with 207 yards and 2 touchdowns on 22 carries, including a 62-yard burst, while also adding 59 receiving yards. Theo Wease Jr. led the receiving corps with 63 yards and a touchdown, Marquis Johnson contributed a 54-yard TD, and Luther Burden III added another score. Defensively, Missouri overwhelmed the Aggies with 13 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, led by Chuck Hicks with 10 total tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and a sack, while Triston Newson and Zion Young also made major backfield impacts. Missouri forced two turnovers and gave up none, while dominating in red zone efficiency, scoring touchdowns on both of their trips. Despite a 24-point effort from Texas A&M and standout moments from 6ftdeep, the Aggies struggled on third down (2-of-7), failed to force turnovers, and couldn’t match the Tigers’ pace or execution. Missouri’s offense totaled 451 yards to A&M’s 339, outrushed them 224–96, and controlled the game with explosive plays, efficiency, and relentless defense to secure the win.
