This game was over before it started. The bama homefield advantage was too much and QB Nate Johnson was clueless for the first three Vandy drives and went down to an injury early. Diego Pavia replaced him and immediately fumbled. The next drive had the same result on the first play. The Vandy offense got dogged all game long. The ground game was held to -2 yards.
The Vandy defense faired no better. The bama offense did what they wanted when they wanted. There was too much talent for Vandy to contend with. The bama offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage.
