James Madison racked up over 300 rushing yards as they defeated Georgia Southern 41-7.
George Pettaway ran for 215 yards on 17 carries, finding the endzone three times and causing problems all game long for the Eagles. Quarterback Alonza Barnett added another 68 yards on 13 carries, while throwing for 116 yards and a touchdown as he completed all six of his pass attempts.
Georgia Southern quarterback JC French had a nightmare game, completing only nine of 32 pass attempts. In fact, he completed just two more passes to his teammates than he did to the opponent, as he threw seven interceptions on the night.
Six different defenders came away with picks, with Jacob Dobbs taking one back to the house for a defensive score. The Dukes also sacked French four times on the day.
