The Bulldogs of Georgia played host to the Longhorns of Texas in today's SEC matchup. Both teams undefeated thus far this season and both with hopes of walking away with a win. Georgia came out and scored on their first possession and it was a tug-o-war match after that, as both teams kept finding the endzone one after another. The Longhorns would get a big stop and go into the half 28-21. The second half was a different story, you saw a lot of inconsistency on the Bulldogs side of the field, missed throws, dropped passes and great defensive adjustments by the Longhorns and Georgia was unable to get on the boards in the second half. "This game showed that there are still a lot we need to improve on. 7 turnovers in a game and you're not walking away with a win against anyone. We have to find a way to cut out the mistakes and get the ball into the hands of our playmakers so we can move the ball. Texas played a heck of a game on both sides today. Hats off to Coach Jiggy as this definitely gave us some looks that should help us down the road." said Coach Cane after the game.
