The Bulldogs came to San Jose State looking for a victory, but walked out without one. SJSU controlled the time of possession and limited the turnovers to come out on top. Stat wise, the teams played very close to each other. SJSU was able to cause 3 turnovers that helped with the victory. Chalk IV had 137 yards on the ground and 2 TD's. Stewart made some key catches to extend the drives. The defense was able to sack the QB 3 times and came up big when it mattered. "The men played well today. This was a tough Fresno State team and don't want to take anything away from them. We made more key plays when it mattered and that is how we came out on top. We still need more practice as there are still a lot of games to be played and we cannot quit now, " replied Coach Taruncheel.
