Nebraska Dominates Second Half, Rolls Past UCLA 42-14
LOS ANGELES —
What started with promise ended in frustration for UCLA, as the Bruins were outclassed in the second half of a 42-14 loss to Nebraska at the Rose Bowl.
UCLA showed early signs of life, but after halftime, the game turned into a one-sided affair. The Bruins were unable to establish any rhythm offensively, struggling to run the ball, protect quarterback Ethan Garbers, or find consistency through the air. Defensively, UCLA had no answers for Nebraska’s relentless attack.
“We fell flat,” Coach Noles26 said bluntly. “Couldn’t run it, couldn’t pass block, couldn’t tackle. That’s the story.”
