Early takeaways propel the Huskies

Article By: DevonHiggins

In the battle for the regular season crown, the Huskies set the tone on defense forcing a couple early turnovers to jump out to a 14-0 1Q lead. The Chippewas then forced a couple turnovers in the 2Q to lead a strong 2Q performance tying the game at 21 before the half.
The Huskies controlled the 3Q by forcing interceptions and putting the game away before the 4Q.
The offense clicked all game for the Huskies minus a couple ill-advised throws that turned into interceptions. Jalen Macon finished the game 15/21 with 3 passing TDs. The RB's, Brown and Williams, carried much of the load both rushing for 130 yards and a pair of scores.
