The UNLV Runnin Rebels went on the road against the mighty Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and Head Coach Wasted Memory. The Rebels grabbed their second victory in season 32, and it was a heck of a game for RB Ja'Den Thomas rushing for over 200 yards, which is surprising, because he is usually bottled up by Head Coach Wasted and his vaulted defense, especially in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Two seasons ago, the Rebels got their asses handed to them, and it was a dismal showing at WKU. Last season at Allegiant Stadium, WKU and Head Coach Wasted Memory smoked the Rebels, in which UNLV QB Cameron Friel threw five interceptions, enroute to a blow out victory for the Hilltoppers.
Head Coach Wasted Memory has always had a well coached team as in years past, and played the Rebels tough today at home, but the Rebels pulled out the victory, which the running game hit on all cylinders for Thomas. The credit goes to the offensive line, as they blocked exceptionally, and it showed. QB blast and wraps were used for the first time in a couple of seasons, and Friel's gained positive yards. Head Coach Black Rain was proud of his team, every facet of special teams, defense, and offense were all clicking at the right time, and the Rebels pulled away with the victory 35-14.
Head Coach Black Rain has known Head Coach Wasted Memory for quite some time since the old days, and it has been great to continue the out-of-conference play. Hope to continue the out-of-conference play in the future. Great Game Wasted Memory, good luck this season. See you for out-of-conference or conference game next season! Always a great game no matter the outcome Wasted!
