Ole Miss stayed hot going into BYU and getting a lobsided win. Senior running back Ulysses Bentley IV had another game where he topped over 150 yards. The bigger back in Amos came in short yardage and scored 2 tds. Dart didn't have to do much in the win. He's said he will be ready when he needs to be.
The day was won by the defense. Every stop Coach Smitty has had the defense has been good, but there's just something different about this team. Walter Nolen had a record setting day. He finished with 9 tfls and 3.5 sacks on the day. Coach Smitty told us he has never heard like that from anybody. Not to mention he had 2 fumble recoveries 1 for a touchdown.
Ole Miss biggest test is coming up and they will be ready!
This game started off pretty interesting as it was 14-9 at the end of the first quarter, with BYU scoring off a touchdown and a saftey. But then it quick turn as Ole Miss scores 21 unanswered in the second. All that happened in the second half was a lot of running, punting and a BYU field goal as time expired to make the final score 35-12.
