Turnovers caused Virginia to win easily, and being able to force 8 made the game trivial after the offense was struggling to start.

A valuable lesson was learned this week for the PirateFlag…no scheduling P4 teams at home. After intercepting Virginia on the first play of the game, we struggled to move the ball, needing to convert on 4th and 1 to get the ball into the end zone. On the next drive, probably the best drive of the game, we fumbled at the 3 yard line. Momentum swung and we never recovered.

This big win caused generational hubris for Ultra, whom, high off this big win, instantly quit the league after losing to UNC. And I will continue to contemplate why I couldn’t just wait 1 more day to ask if he was finally ready to play a block 2 game.
